1997
Starts trading steel items with Myanmar. R&K specializes business to South East Asia.
2008
Accomplishes annual export, 240,000 mt of steel items to Vietnam. R&K Trading starts handling over-rolled, scraps, and other various steel items.
2009
Accomplishes annual export, 300,000 mt of steel items to Vietnam.
2010
Accomplishes annual export, 320,000 mt of steel items to Vietnam. Supplies steel item to government projects (Vietnam). Establishes “R&K TRADING CO., LTD. (Myanmar Representative Office)” in Myanmar.
2011
Supplies steel items for new project of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam.
2012
Establishes “R&K TRADING VIETNAM CO., LTD.” in Vietnam. Starts Tri-National trading business (Japan-Vietnam-Myanmar).
2013
Achieves total annual sales of 20 billion Japanese Yen.
2014
Establishes “R&K TRADING CO., LTD. (Myanmar Branch)” in Yangon, Myanmar.
2015
Establishes “RK YANGON STEEL CO., LTD.” as a steel manufacturer in Thilawa SEZ, Yangon, Myanmar.
2016
Starts operation and production of Factory.
2018
Factory Phase 2 was extended besides Phase 1 at Zone A.
